"Many hands make light work" is true, especially in a small community. Volunteers have organized in several different ways to create a better community or offer community services. See the list below to find out how you can get involved.
Meetings are open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend. Purpose is to provide an update on the direction for sewage and drainage issues and solutions. The focus of the association is to organize a political voice for the community of Palermo.

The Butte County Board of Supervisors and the Palermo Community Association, with assistance from Lumos & Associates are starting the preparation of a preliminary engineering report to evaluate different alternatives for wastewater treatment and disposal for the Palermo Community. Depending on the findings, this report may be used to apply for funding for wastewater upgrades in the Palermo Community. More information is online at www.palermoprojects.com

The focus of the Council is to provide family-oriented community activities while supporting a safe community.
